Welcome to the Friends of the Lewes Canalfront Park web site.

In 1999, the citizens of Lewes joined together to raise funds to create a beautiful canalfront park along the Lewes-Rehoboth Canal.

Today that dream is becoming a reality.

The Campaign for the Park was launched in November 2004.

Nearly $2.6 million for construction has already been donated and the first on-site activities have begun.
